i got a 1 track box in the computer display, which is about the size of the rest of the icons on the left of the display. I click on it, search for it on the display settings, but it does not show. I want to get rid of it from the display because it stays on no matter what i want to watch.
please help,
felix C.

Which is the operating system? And did you install any recent application which also might be causing the issue? What is the track box say?

1. can you provide a screenshot ?
2. Hook it up onto an external monitor see if it is there
3. If it is under warranty consider sending it to a service center as it looks like your screen is damaged.
Note:
On your next posts (Hope you don't encounter problems and dont need to post)
please provide your model number (conveniently located at the bottom of your notebook/laptop under a glass plaque)
your OS ( version / service pack ? / bit (32 - 64)
also hardware data (if u have vista / 7 in start menu type in system information to find out )
good luck.
