Hi,
1. The following articles may help:
http://www.kraussmaffei.com/files_db/dl_mg_1158825
http://www.ptonline.com/articles/in-mold-laminatio
2. To my knowledge, only few models of normal laptops have this such as:
https://h10057.www1.hp.com/ecomcat/hpcatalog/specs
3. It depends on how do you use it.
Regards.

based on my googling,it doesnt seem like only a limited number of products use it.
and sorry if my question was misleading, but i.m not too intrested in technicality of the process itself, rather its effectiveness in general, and particularly is the display/screen covered as well?
in short, i'm wondering which laptops have scratch-resistant displays.
