is my hp g72-227wm notebook pc have a web cam in it or does it not?

I have a HP G72-227 WM Notebook PC

Win 7 32Bit

No error messages

no changes

My problem is that the manual says I have a Web Cam in my Notebook, but when I installed Skype it tells me it cannot find

a Web Cam. Where a Web Cam would be is a black like piece of plastic, but also has what i beleive a mic. I'm not sure if i have a

Web Cam or not with this model. And if the mic works, but it did pass the test that Skype runs to test it. If I do not have a Cam

how can i have one put in, or do i have to install an external cam? Thanks for your help!

Check specification here. This model have microphone but it is without webcam.

Daniel: thanks for the specs for my machine. I noticed that when I was going down the list, it states that it has

win 7 64bit version. this notebook was a gift, and I only have win 7 32 bit version on this machine. Is there way i can get the 64 bit version back on it without doing a full recovery of the whole drive. my other partion on this machine does not have a recovery on it. It must have been deleted before I got the machine so what are my options. I know that the 64 bit version it better than the 32 is, and I would be able to upgrade to 8 gig of ram. I now

have 3gig. Hope you can help. HELMAR
