missing video controller driver - Intel

guys,

 I have a dv5t-1000 laptop with Mobile Intel 4 Series video chip.

I did a clean Vista install. I downloaded and installed all the available drivers from HP. Under Device Manager, it shows that driver for Video Controller is missing. Please let me know if you know what that is.

I have copied the hardware ids from Device Manager:

Someone at HP do NOT do the proper job listing your all your notebook drivers.

If I were his/her supervisor, he/she will recieved a RED warning letter!

Try using dv7 drivers

Finding the correct drivers from HP's download page is only have the battle, getting them to WORK is the real challenge. I tried to install my Intel Chipset driver for my dv9548us and it claims that the driver is not for my system, EVEN THOUGH, I downloaded it from the correct link, for my EXACT system.......wtf

Hi.

Please search in www.hp.com the video driver for your notebook.

Please use the product number to serach for the driver.

You will find  the product number (p/n)  on the bottom of the notebook with a # mark on the middle.

However, here is the video driver for your notebook:

Please select the "save" option before it prompts for download. After the download of the driver, you need to double click the file to install.

This should resolve the issue.

WHY ???? THE ONLY DRIVERS WERE EVER AVAILIBLE FOR MY COMPUTER (COMPAQPRESARIOSR1220NX) FROM HP WERE ALL FROM BEFORE MY COMPUTER WAS BUILT. UPDATE [text removed]
