I realize that the switchable graphics won't work and there is no BIOS option also . I already have up to date drivers but when select it on high performance and power saving , there is.no difference .
Please I need help because contacted local HP engineer but I think they don't have interest in my prob. And now I think that I must return it.
Thanx in advance .
Archit.

before returning it you must know that every i core processor(amd processors too) has integrated graphics and thus, switchable graphics, unless hp comes with a bios tool for g6 as well, not just dv6 and envy, you cant switch permanently to radeon.
and there is a difference,i am playing lineage 2 and before assign it to High Performence, everytime i started the game i had a message that my "AGP" is not connected, followed by in-game laggs.
after i assigned it to high performance, the message and the laggs dissapeared.
after you installed a game, enter it,then exit game and go to configure switchable graphics and assign the game to high performance.
atm this is the only solution, unless HP does something to change this.
