my laptop is pavillion g6 1040 and since the day i bought it its giving me a hard time with video reproduction.
I have installed every kind of video players..vlc, bsp, klite, wmp of course...
none seems to work... the video is always choppy and un-viewable, skipping and lagging all the time!!!
..i changed the vlc's caching value and output model, and it seems that the problem isn't too bad anymore, but still, it runs reeeeally slow, the picture appears with pixels and its buffering really slow too...
i just want to watch a movie like everyone else!! it should be simple...what's wrong i'm going crazy..seriously!

Hi
The issue that you seem to be facing is video lag.
there are chances that the video driver is not functioning hence i would recommend to reinstall the video driver
that should help you to fix the issue
Try to use the link to reinstall Graphics driver. that should help you resolved the issue .
if it does not work try running the Startup test while starting the computer by continously tapping the F2 Key
see through that if all test pass. else it might be a hardware issue.
(concept behind the running test is.
The movie is either downloaded from internet, saved on the systme , hard drive has to buffer the movie or video to system memory RAM, and the Processor should process the request to play the movie. the statup test will run both the memory and hdd test if both pass we are left only with the processor or the software .
try these steps it should provide a solution
Thanks if you feel that the above solution helps you resolve the issue please Click on Kudos.
