unable to save screen image. pressing the "prt sc" produces nothing. no popup menu. timer countdown, save location, etc.
If saved is there a default directory location where the image is saved?
Thanks

Hi,
When you press Prt Scn, the image is copied to the clipboard so you need you launch an application such as Wordpad ( Start Menu...All Programs...Accessories...Wordpad ) right click and select Paste.

Hi,
If the button is present, it should work - note that on some Models, you will need to hold down the fn key and then press the Prt Sc key.

Hey SahureRanefer,
If the button is not working, you could try some updates. Make sure your BIOS is up-to-date. If I could get your product number, I would be glad to provide you with direct links to the latest drivers for your particular computer.
If driver updates don't work, you could try reinstalling Windows. If it still didn't work after reinstalling Windows, it would be a keyboard hardware issue and the keyboard would need to be replaced.
Do any other keys not work? Or is it just the Print Screen key?
I realize reinstalling Windows and replacing the keyboard might be a bit much so I wanted to provide you with an alternative. There are programs out there that you can use instead. One popular free program is called Screen Hunter.
Here's the link to get Screen Hunter 6.0 free
I hope this information helps! I'll keep an eye out for your reply ![]()
