why does my computer fail to play many videos?

I have been having much difficulty viewing certain videos, or playing games on Facebook with my HP Pavilion dv6 Notebook PC, model # Wl761UA#ABA.  I am able to access these same videos and games on other computers, but I see a blank screen that I have to scroll down and "find" the image to select the "Enlarge Screen" box.

Hi,

 

Disable Active X Filtering should fix the problem..This link will show you how to do it.

 

How to Disable ActiveX Filtering

 

It also has the steps if you want to disable it for only specific website
