Why do I have to change the colors from True Color (32 bits) to High color (16 bits) in order to have clear display for some of the programs?

Your problem with clear display is not related in most part to the Color Quality.
I assume that you have Win 7. Let's check some of the settings.
- Is your resolution set correctly? Go to Display proprieties and check the resolution to be set at recommended.
- Set your Color quality level to 32 bits True Color
- Click Start button and then click Control Panel option. Click Display to open screen with options to change screen text size on Windows 7 operating system. Check if if Smaller - 100% (default) is selected.
- Check DPI settings go to Set custom text size (DPI) and check if is set to 100% and Use Windows XP style DPI is checked.
What programs do not display correctly?
Please post results.

You are very knowledgeable and very helpful. You have solved my probem. Indeed it is due to the screen text size on Windows 7. There are 2 options, either 100% or 125%. The problem was I set it to 130%. The question is, if only 100% or 125% are applicable why there is a custom setting for other percentage? which causing me a big problem and had gone through some major troubleshootings. Thanks again Prof Adrew.
