Intel High-Definition (HD) Graphics Driver

I downloaded the Intel High-Definition (HD) Graphics Driver for my notebook model which is HP Pavilion dm4-1002TX for h is Windows 7 ultimate 32-bit.  But when I install the driver, I get the error "The driver being installed is not validated for this computer.  Please obtain the appropriate driver from the manufacturer.  Setup will exit"  When I checked at the "uninstall or change a program" at the control panel, I don't see the High-Definition (HD) Graphics Driver installed on my system yet as such it  cause the blur text such as the attached screen shot.  What should I do?  Thanks.

Re: Intel High-Definition (HD) Graphics Driver

Hi,

Open windows Control Panel, open Device Manager and open up Display Adapters - what is the full name of the device listed here?

Re: Intel High-Definition (HD) Graphics Driver

Hi,

As you have 'Switchable Graphics', you need to install the ATI driver as this package also contains the relevant Intel driver - the installer is on the link below.

ftp://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp49501-50000/sp49553.exe

Re: Intel High-Definition (HD) Graphics Driver

I'm experiencing the same problem with my Win7 HP TouchSmart tm2-2090eo Notebook PC.

The driver package recommended on HP.se is sp50553.exe. Should I use the sp49553.exe as recommended below for my PC model too?

Please advice. Thanks,
