when I unplug charger from my HP Pavalion G6-2016tx, the colors fade i.e. red becomes light red, blue becomes light bule, green becomes neon green; then every time I had to restart the machine to bring the colors back, and its really annoying me.

please help me if you know the cure......thank you.

Hey karedia,

I understand that you are having an issue with the colors dimming when you unplug the charger from your HP Pavilion g6-2016tx Notebook PC. This happens because the default setting on your laptop is going to be power conserving. Meaning that when you unplug your laptop, the screen will dim to save power. You can change this by increasing the brightness.

Here is a document for Resolving Problems with the Brightness of the Display that explains how to do this.

I hope this information helps, please let me know how it goes.

Thank you and have a great day!

I worked on behalf of HP.
