why has powerdvd 10.0 suddenly stopped working?

why after only 2 weeks of purchasing new pavilion dv7-6b75nr laptop powerdvd 10.0 has stopped working?

Here is a new version of Power DVD10, save it to the desk top and install it from there, not from a temporary folder.

 Another reason that it may have failed is an over active anti-virus program. AVG, MacAfee and Norton are the worst.

 

 If you go into their quarantined chests, look for anything in there that may be blocked to do with Power DVD10.

 

 You may also try and run Intel's driver finder and update your chipset driver if it finds a new version.

 I am also assuming that you're trying to play a Blu-ray, if it's a DVD will Windows Media Player work ?
