HDX 9120 EA video upgrade

Hi

Is it possible to upgrade the graphics card on my HDX 9120 and if so which would be the best. I've just tried playing Black Ops and its having no of it. I also had problems playing F1 2010.

Thanks

Re: HDX 9120 EA video upgrade

Hi,

There is no real prospect of being able to upgrade your graphics card.  In laptops, although the word 'Card' is used, in reality they are physically soldered to the Motherboard.

Hope this helps.

Best wishes,

DP-K

Re: HDX 9120 EA video upgrade

On the HDX9000 you can upgrade the graphics card...It comes with MXM slot, so you can add ATI or Nvidia Graphics card on it...

Info to remove graphics card is available in the services and maintenance guide... Available on this link... http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c01279508.pdf, pg 82
