duuude, im a WOT player too, i got a dv7 4197cl and im having exactly the same problem, i was pretty annoyed with the temps, they reach 85° when im playing at full screen and the dam fan noise really pissed me
tired of this, i bought a cooler pad, the CM u3 cuz it has 3 fans and fits ok with the laptop size, but no success with that another think i noticed is, the notebook tends to overheat when i play with it plugged in, when i play with battery, temps keep between 70-75° and no fan noise (or not much),
if u get any solution, please let me know ![]()

i dont know what model dv7 i have (8gb ram, i5 intel, 6490m hd radeon graphics card) but i have a similar problem my laptop does get to 80 but it will reach 70. my biggest issue is it should run the game better it only runs at about 10 fps on medium graphics even though the game automaticaly picks high for my pc

Be sure that you are in an airconditioned room for your laptop to stay cool at all times especially if you are playing any sorts of games.
and still working perfectly..
