Keyboard Question

I play a game that requires the use of the traditional "function keys"; however my HP Pavilion dv6, running Windows 7, has these same keys setup as the help key (F1), screen brightness (F2 & F3) and so on.  Is there a way to change the default function opf these keys?

Re: Keyboard Question

The auxiliary functions of your "function keys" should only be activated if you press and hold the fn key while pressing them. Without the fn key, the f1 - f12 button should act as intended. There is a slight possibility that your model allows the fn button to toggle the function, but I have not heard of this on many models.

Good luck

Hi,

Please shut down the notebook. Tap away at f10 as you start up to access the Bios Menu and make the change described in the document on the link below.
