My dv6 1211ax monitor goes off while playing mafia 2

hey

I have a hp dv 6 1211ax laptop which i purchased 14 months ago. I have played many games successfully on the laptop

but recently i purchased Mafia 2 and everything was working well until i actually was 5 minutes into the gameplay.

The screen just went blank and the laptop stopped responding to the keyboard or mouse commands.

I have to manually power off the laptop and tried checking the video/graphics settings which looked completely fine. This happened everytime i tryed playing the game again!

Do i need a graphics card upgrade?

It already has a 1GB ATI radeon and AMD Turion X2 with 4GB RAM....

What do i do? :smileysad:
