Problem with my switchable graphics even after update?

Hey guys I'd really appreciate it if someone can help me. So I recently purchased my laptop(Pavilion Dv6/ LM720AV) and quickly found out that no matter what game i played it would always use the Intel HD 3000 rather than the ATI Radeon 6770m. A friend of mine suggested that I go update the graphics card, I did and Ive been trying to use the Catalyst Control Center to hopefully try and get the computer to use the dedicated graphics. Nothing happened. I then researched a little why it wasnt working and it all pointed to updating the BIOS. I updated the BIOS to F.1A. Even after the update the games will now acknowledge there is a second graphics card but it says it is unrecognized and it is labled as Intel HD 3000. Id really appreciate it if someone can offer me a solution to this. Thanks!!

Hi,

First, you will need to make sure you have the latest bios version available - it's on the link below.

When this has been applied and the notebook has restarted, leave it a couple of minutes, then shut down the notebook again.  Tap away at f10 as you start the notebook to enter the Bios Menu and you will now find an option for Switchable Graphics Fixed Mode.

i did same on dv6-6121tx but it took default intel one....i want it too take ati as default...?

hello i also have the same problem i bought dv7 --6106 si cant switch my graphics cards...

my bios is F1C

PLEASE HELP ME HAVE LATEST DRIVER....BT STILL THE SAME GRAPHICS..
