Hp Omen 15-ax001ns
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I've had this laptop for at least two weeks and I hadn't had problems until today.

The thing is, I had already gotten used to the fact that, despite being playable by low-end computers, most of my games would be consistently capped at 30fps as long as the laptop wasn't plugged in. And I was okay with that.

However, today it started to have grave issues with the performance, being unable to run games with almost no requirements faster than ~40 fps. And it doesn't improve whether the laptop is plugged or not.

I've tried messing with both intel's and Nvidia's graphic settings and none of them worked.

So, any way to solve this?

P.S.: Also, is it even possible to remove the framerate cap when on battery mode? As I've previously stated, most of my games aren't even that demanding, yet they remain locked at 30fps.

Thanks, it worked perfectly :generic:

Although there is still a game (Terraria) that remains locked at 48fps, no matter what I do. I guess that the problem is unrelated to HP Support, but if there is anything I could do to try to fix it, I would love to know.
