Hi Winos,

Yes English will be fine even if French is a beautiful language ;-).

Anyway, is my description enough detailed?

HP Recommended

I'm still trying to learn French but it is hard for a Dutchman 🙂

Anyhow, you have a driver problem. let's focus on that.

So as far as I can read, you have a  device connected and it doesn't work because of error 43:

I think it's your chipset, can you download and install this driver:

http://whp-hou9.cold.extweb.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp48501-49000/sp48501.exe

What kind of device are you trying to connect with your pc?

Winos.

Bien! Good luck on that.

Actually, behavior is like the all set of USB ports (x4) isn't responding anymore.

I usually connect devices like: USB key, printer, external hard drive, modem...

I'll try you chipset solution once I'm in front of my sick mate.

I'll wait for your response.

This might help:

Power manager > Turn off usb power saving

https://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/windows/en-US/4514e103-7fe2-4e0a-b634-ed43c608a9b9/unkno...

Could you please confirm if it does.

If not, this might also work:

Uninstall the offending NON CONNECTED devices. Open Computer Management, Click Device Management, View, Show Hidden Devices, right click on offending device, uninstall. To do a refresh and make sure it does not come back, right click on your computer name at the top and scan for hardware changes. All should be gone.

Winos.

Hello Winos,

Both of your suggestions didn't work.

1) "Power manager > Turn off usb power saving", then I tried to plug/unplug USB key ; reboot cumputer ; update USB device again... but still nothing happened.

2) "Uninstall the offending NON CONNECTED devices". But after scanning for hardware changes, all devices are back (and so not unistalled).

Looking at the event error informations, same descriptions.
