HP Stream x360 - 11-aa001na
I brought a new laptop and put it straight on charge without turning it on. I left it for 7 hours and it still wasn't charged, the red light was still on. So I turned the laptop on, set it up and found it was only on 41% battery. I took the charger out and then put it back in but found the battery light did not come on and it was not charging. I have done a diagnostic test, the battery was fine but the AC Adaptor failed the test. It is brand new out of the box and does not work. Can I get a replacement AC Adaptor?

I have brought your issue to the attention of an appropriate team within HP. They will likely request information from you in order to look up your case details or product serial number. Please look for a private message from an identified HP contact. Additionally, keep in mind not to publicly post personal information (serial numbers and case details).

If you are unfamiliar with how the Forum's private message capability works, you can learn about that here.

I've already tried this and the only contact information I was provided with was this support forum.

OK.

Then I will ask a Moderator to escalate your issue. 🙂

That should get a result.

Thank you. I think I have found a contact number to call about it if this does not work.

Thank you. I did call the technical issues department that gave me another number to call for this issue but I will certainly look for this private message.

Thank you for your help.
