Hello

 

I want to know in my newly purchased HP Laptop AU006tx laptop how to open the Battaery  Compartment and see the serial no in the Laptop.

I am not finding any separate battery compartment for the battery.

Please help.

Dear Customer,

 

Battery is not user accessible !!

 

Certian Components should be accessed only by an authorized service provider. Accessing these parts can damage the computer or void the warranty.

CAUTION: This computer does not have user-replaceable parts. Only HP authorized service providers should perform the removal and replacement procedures described here. Accessing the internal part could damage the computer or void the warranty.

To find Serial Number of the PC  there are various ways:

 

1) In Windows, press the fn + esc keys on the built-in notebook keyboard to open the HP System Information window.

 

2)Find your serial number by typing a command into Windows.

  1. In Windows, search for and open CMD.EXE. A command windows opens.
  2. At the command prompt type wmic bios get serialnumber, and then press Enter. The serial number displays.

3) Use HP Support Assistant, Install from here if not installed

Download and install the latest version of HP Support Assistant.

 

After installing :

  1. In Windows, search for and open HP Support Assistant.
  2. Select the My devices tab, then select your PC from the device list. If you have several HP devices, you might need to scroll down to find the correct device.
    The product number is listed on the tile for your device.

4) Use the BIOS System Information to find your model and product number.

  1. Turn on the computer by pressing the Power button.
  2. Immediately press the Esc key repeatedly until a startup menu appears.
  3. Press the F1 key or select System Information from the Startup Menu.
  4. The product number and other identification numbers are shown on the screen.
