Elitebook 8560P
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I would like to upgrade my Elitebook 8560P LCD from the original 1366 x 768 resolution to an LCD with 1600 x 900 resolution.  I have the LCD from another like model Elitebook 8560p.   Do I need to replace the cable as well or only swap the LCD panels?

Thanks for any help.

Here is the Service Manual:

See p. 35. A different part number is specified for HD and HD+ screen cables so you would need to replace both the screen panel and the cable but would you not also have the cable from the "donor" unit?

If this is "the Answer" please click "Accept as Solution" to help others find it.
