Hi,

First, make sure you've installed the Chipset driver on the link below.

http://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp55001-55500/sp55095.exe

When done, reboot the notebook.

The hardware id you've posted is for the IMEI driver on the following link.

http://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp55001-55500/sp55100.exe

Thank you very much kind sir. I have one more question now when i connect my external disk it says in a pop up message "This divice can preform faster if connected to 3.0 port" the divice id is:

 USBSTOR\OtherWD______SES_Device______1012

I did try all usb ports on my notebook and still the same massage. Do need to look for drivers?

Hi,

You're welcome :generic:

Go back into Device Manager and expand 'Univeral Serial Bus Controllers' - if anything there is showing an error icon, right click it and select Properties.  Click the Details tab, choose Hardware Ids from the dropdown box and post back with the details shown under Value.

Regards,
