Product: EliteBook 8770w
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My HP laptop will not let me get past the HP PC Hardware Diagnostic UEFI screen.  Pressing ESC, F9, or F10 has no effect.  The diagnostic screen always shows up.  I want to boot to a USB Windows-To-Go stick but I never get the opportunity.  The system seems to be stuck in this diagnostic mode.  I have removed the hard disk as that seemed to be the original source of the problem, but even without a hard disk in the system, it still defaults to the diagnostic screen.
