It says my laptop can have up to 4gb of ram.

I'm aware ran sticke should be correct and the same.

My question is;

Is it possible to change ram settings in Bios?

Thank you,

To what?

I'm just wondering if there is a place o Bios where there's an option to choose Ram size capabilities.

Is there?

HP Recommended

No. You want to somehow make a computer with max 4 gigs into max something higher? No.

HP Recommended

No.

I am wanting to see if there is an option where you can amend the size.

I'm not looking to go over the allowed size.

I am merely asking if there is a place in bios or where ever it may be to amend.

I'm going to have to guess not.

Trying to help but I am not sure how you would amend the size but basically there are no memory variation settings in the BIOS at all so it is moot.
