Does this laptop support M.2 SSD ? If yes, is there any specific M.2 SSD I need to use with it?

See p. 66. Yes you can use an M.2 mSSD but the problem is you can use one of those OR a 2.5 inch SATA hard drive or SSD. The laptop uses a caddy and cable to connect the drive (whichever type) to a single ribbon cable header. So if you want an M.2 disk: 1. It can only be the SATA type; and 2. It will replace not add to the existing hard drive; and 3. Will require that you buy a new caddy and cable kit; and 4. Will not be any faster than a 2.5 inch SATA SSD would be. You can replace the mechanical drive with a 2.5 inch SATA SSD without buying any other mounting hardware.

Thanks for the answer, I already have replaced the HDD with an SSD but I thought that I can add an M.2 SSD to the set because I mistakingly thought the optical drive port as an M.2. port.

Thanks again for your time.
