Elitebook 8570w
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have tried numerous methods to enable the fingerprint reader on my Elitebook in WIndows 10. The driver is installed and up to date and I have tried HP Simple Pass. I can't see the settings to set up the fingerprint reader either within HP Simple Pass of Windows settings. I have also tried changing the settings in the registry to allow biometrics. Please could you advise.

Hi:

You should be able to enroll your fingerprint by using the newer HP Client Security Manager software.

Uninstall the simplepass software first and reboot before installing the CSM software.
