My notebook only charges when it is completely shutdown.  I have tried several ac adapter chargers and I am still experiencing the same problem. 

 

Is the repair covered by warranty?

I strongly recommend you to Contact HP Technical Support over the Phone for further assistance without any delay to get your Notebook diagnosed and serviced by an authorized HP Certified Engineer
