HP ProBook 640 G1
Microsoft Windows 8.1 (64-bit)

I have recently obtained an HP ProBook 640 G1 but it was missing the power supply and battery. I have another HP power supply that I tested the unit with to be sure that it is working.

What is the recommended and original HP power supply? A 65 watt or 90 watt power supply?

Was the original battery the 3 cell type.

Again HP ProBook 640 G1

     Serial #: [Personal Information Removed]

     Product: K4L 16UT#ABA

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Bob

Hi,

There are different batteries which can be used and the power supply is 65W for integrated graphics and 90 W for dedicated graphics.

Look on page 17 and 18 of quick specs:

http://www8.hp.com/h20195/v2/GetPDF.aspx/c04126035.pdf

Also take a look on page 5 and 42 of service manual:

Hope it helps,

David
