I have brought your issue to the attention of an appropriate team within HP. They will likely request information from you in order to look up your case details or product serial number. Please look for a private message from an identified HP contact. Additionally, keep in mind not to publicly post personal information (serial numbers and case details).
therefore, what should u do? copy everything u can on this issue and send it with a summary to cbs news or nbc news and hopefully they will bring a bright light to bear on this... as this is hp's cersion of the car industry's ignoring or even fixing emission data.... u have to go public to get a response....

Hi,
I am having the same problem with the right hinge on my HP Envy Ultrabook 6-1113tx. It has come unstuck from the lid and the hinge cover has cracked. This is very disappointing, because except for this minor but crippling issue it has been an outstanding laptop.
I am based in Australia and need the laptop for my work. I'm hoping to take it with me in a couple of weeks when I leave for Christmas holidays. Is there any way that I can have this repaired professionally before then? I understand that other customers have had the same issue resolved satisfactorily.
Thank you very much in advance,
Stephanie.
