I can not find my web cam in my HP pavilion Laptop PC.1000

Guys, I am not sure if anyone still having the problem with webcam on this machine, but I just came across this issue and ended up opening comp up. The problem was with the webcam plug being loose (it was not loaded there completely). So, if your comp doesnt see webcam and after trying all those suggestions other falks were giving, if it didn't fix - it is phisycal. I hope my imput helps.

Mine isnt working. I have Hp pavillion g6 1325TU. Done what you replied to in this post. The YouCam thing opens but says turn on webcam, but i dont know how???

I had the same problem. I uninstalled the driver and installed this driver http://www.driverscape.com/download/hp-truevision-hd The camera worked perfectly. Hope this helps.
