Hi there, I just bought a new laptop through Best Buy. I am wondering if I am able to take some of the RAM from my old laptop and add them to my new one to expand the memory? If yes, how would I do this?
From what I can tell/understand:
New Laptop:
HP Pavilion 15.6" Laptop - Silver (Intel Core i5-6200U 6th Gen/1TB HDD/8GB RAM/Windows 10)
Model #: 15-AU018CA
8 GB DDR4-2133 SDRAM (1 x 8 GB) (Transfer rates up to 2133 MT/s)

Old/Broken Laptop:
HP ENVY m6-1188ca NB PC ALL
8GB DDR3 SDRAM (2 DIMM)
Thank you in advance!
