HP 15-BA009DX
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

How many memory slots does the HP 15-BA009DX have and is it upgradable (accesible)? Also what is the real maximum memory? Anyone tried putting in more than 8GB?

I was informed by a memory salesperson that the AMD Quad-Core A6-7310 APU only supports DDR3 memory types and the maximum memory this will support is only 8 GB. This totally contradicts what was previously posted here.

So my first question is DDR3 or DDR4?

2nd question: 8 or 16 GB maximum?

3rd question: Which is the best Crucial memory product that is recommended for HP Model 15-BA009DX?

Well I am human. The Manual covers several different models and some are DDR3 and some are DDR4. You have to read the chart in the Manual carefully and I apparently did not.  See pages 2-3. The memory is DDR3L-1600 but it downclocks to DDR3L-1333. There are two slots and it can take 16 gigs of RAM.
