Envy x360 15
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

It appears that different versions of the envy x360 15 come with different amounts of memory.  I looked up the product specs and I found my model which showed it came with 6GB.  The specs did not show a max memory number.  I have seen different numbers on the web, most places don't show a max which might imply that it can't be increased.  My system came with 6GB and I was told at purchase time that it could be upgraded.  Since I keep running out of memory I would like to upgrade it now but I can't find out if I can and what the max is.

Question:  What is the maximum memory allowed for the HP Envy x360 15-U410NR model M1W63UA#ABA?

Hi,

Yes upto 16gb max (two 8gb sticks)

Page 49, 50: http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c04642245

Get modules of the exact same configuration, speed, voltage as each other and as given in Manual.

Crucial is good brand and they have their own online scanner that lists compatible upgrades.

Hi,

The max memory for your model is 16GB of DDR3L  1600 SODIMM (2x8GB)

Hope it helps,

David
