It's a pavilion g6. Run on windows 7. Product key starts 8WT2Y. Is that the right one? Thanks.

Product number is A8S66EA#ABU

Thanks for the reply.  No, that's not the correct number. That is the key you use to unlock Windows 7.  You never want to share that number online.

What I need, is the product number of your G6, so I know specifically which model you have.

Click on the link in my previous post, and it will show you where to find that number.

Thanks

Awesome!  You answered before I submitted my last reply.  Very good.

Take a look at this document, and let me know if it helps you get connected to your wifi.

Good luck!

Hi. Still not working. Done everything it said except for manually connecting with a cable as I don't have one. But its still just a little box with a red cross in where the signal bars usually are.

Hello, I tried updating the BIOS (didnt work) I read the document and tried all the steps with no luck either but when I tried to connect manually to a wireless network it wont give me the option (figure 12). It only gives me the other four options.

Please help. This is getting very frustrating. First my battery died for no reason and now it wont connect!

Exactly Janobli. My thoughts exactly.
I've tried everything these guys have said and nothing is working, then they suddenly stop replying to messages. My laptop hasn't worked for months and I'm well behind on my studies!
Nothing at all will work and how on earth do I download something when I can't connect?

My laptop was working just fine about two days ago it was connected to the internet and everything was fine. Now it wont connect to the internet it says "Not connected" and also "No connections are available" which I know isn't true because my ipod is connected to the wifi just fine.

The little blue light on the F12 key is on. The computer is new I just got it in May.
