This laptop comes with an M2 256 GB SSD. My question is, can a normal SATA HDD be added to this device after purchase? If yes, does it a hdd caddy for this purpose already or does one need to be bought? Will doing so void the warranty?

Here is the Service Manual:
Look at pages 50-52 and 55-56. The M.2 mSSD and a regular hard drive go in the same physical space and use the same connector on the motherboard, just with different adapters. So, it is an "either/or" thing. One hard drive, M.2 or SATA.
