HP Pavilion dv7-6c63nr
Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

Hi,

I had my HP Pavilion stored a long time. Few days ago I tried to turn it on: when I plugged the charger in and pushed the Power buttom, it turned on for a second but a spark came out of the base of the laptop and recognized that classic burned plastic smell. No matter waht I did, the laptop did not start or respond to any of the buttoms.

After looking carefully and searching, I came to the conclusion that the motherboard had been severy damaged (it had burned).

I was wondering how much will it cost me to get a replacementet for the motherboard, or if it can be fixed. I know this laptop is a little bit old, but it's an excellent model and brand new and I want to know if it's reasonable to have it working again.

Thanks!
