Thank you for posting on HP Forums,

As I Understand you need information about upgrading the RAM,
No worries as I'd love to help, however, I need a few more details to provide an accurate solution:
Did you check your user guide or product specifications for memory upgrade information?
If you haven't, here are the details that should answer your question:
Memory upgrade information: (Click here for details)
-
Single channel memory architecture
-
Two 204-pin DDR3 SODIMM sockets
-
Supports up to PC3-10600 (DDR3-1333)
-
Non-ECC memory only, unbuffered
-
Supports 1 GB, 2 GB, 4 GB and 8 GB SODIMMs
-
Supports up to 16 GB on 64-bit systems
The answer to your question is YES, they are both the same and should be compatible with your computer,
That said, HP recommend you order HP authorized or genuine products from the HP Parts store to be on a safer side.
Keep me posted,
If the information I've provided was helpful,
Give us some reinforcement by clicking the solution and kudos buttons,
That'll help us and others see that we've got the answers!
Good Luck.
