HP Pavilion 15-e039tx
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi,

I want to upgrade my Laptop's RAM by 4GB and want to know the best RAM for my laptop.

I was searching online and found these 2:

http://www.amazon.in/gp/product/B00CQ35GYE/ref=s9_simh_gw_p147_d0_i2?pf_rd_m=A1VBAL9TL5WCBF&pf_rd_s=...

http://www.amazon.in/gp/product/B00IOC7NHY/ref=s9_simh_gw_p147_d0_i1?pf_rd_m=A1VBAL9TL5WCBF&pf_rd_s=...

Are they compatible with my laptop?

I have HP Pavilion 15-e039tx laptop.

Thank You!!

Here is the Service Manual:

Manual

Per p. 26 the recommended module 4 gigs is:

4-GB 691740-001

http://www.amazon.com/HP-691740-001-1600MHz-PC3L-12800-memory/dp/B00CI08FX4/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1...

This is low density (8 black blocks per side) so the second link in your post is more like it and will be fine.

See p. 53 of the Manual for installation instructions. You might open your access panel and look at the installed module. If it is low density (8 blocks) get the same and it is is high density (4 blocks) get the same. You probably could mix them but better to match modules as closely as possible.

Hi,

Thanks for the solution. My laptop has high density (4 blocks) module.

This came pre-installed in my laptop:

So, would the below mentioned product (link) up for the job?

Thank You!!

I was about to select the above RAM, but the dimesion did not match the one already present in the laptop

Mine is 4 blocks one when i opened the panel and measured the length of the already present 4GM RAM its lenght is 7cm.

i found the same measurement in the below link and it is working fine.
