Hello
2 questions about this laptop, I don't find the info on the data sheet.
How many RAM slots does it have?
Maximum RAM supported?
Thanks

Hello Huffer,
Thanks for the answer.
Checking the manual, on memory properties I found:
< Two non-customer-accessible/upgradable memory module slots (Intel Core processors) >
< Supports up to 16 GB of system RAM in the following conƭgurations: 16384-MB total system memory (8192×2) [UMA models only] >
So is it phisically impossible for me to upgrade the RAM from 8 to 16gb?
And is the memory an UMA type? This is the notebook: http://www8.hp.com/it/it/products/laptops/product-detail.html?oid=12028927#!tab=specs
Thanks

UMA is the video type. The link you gave for the specs is not coming up for me and I was unable to find the specific specifications. It is physically possible but may be a bigger chore than you want to tackle and there are warranty implications as well. I believe either the UMA (Intel video only) or dedicated video models can have 16 gigs of RAM but HP only sold UMA models with 16 gigs.
What type of video system does your laptop have? Intel only or Intel and AMD or Intel and nVidia?
Never mind, got specs and yours has a 2 gb dedicated video chip. As I said you can likely install 16 gigs, but officially your maximum is 8 gigs.
