Hi their I am wondering if you can help me as my SD reader on my laptop does not work I have resently had to reinstall windows 10 as something very bad went wrong but it is now working but the SD reader is not and i don't know if i need to install a driver or not or if it will come under the warranty as it has 3 months left on it?

If the driver did not work there may be other hardware issues.
Please use the following http://www.hp.com/contacthp and create a case for your issue and contact HP. If you live outside the US/Canada, please click the link below to get the contact information for your region.

There are drivers you need. Here is a link to download Realtek Card Reader Driver.
