I'm considering replacing my HDD with a SSD on my Pavilion X360 model 11-k161nr. Answers to the following questions will be helpful before starting this process.
What interface is compatible with this model? SATA, SATA Express or M.2? Or is there something better that I'm not aware of?
What physical size?
Is there a max capacity this model can handle? 256 GB would likely be suffient but I'm considering 500 GB as well.
Your answers are much appreciated!
John

Hi,
The following link shows its specs:
It has
500GB 5400RPM hard drive |
means normal 2.5" standard HDD with 6.35-cm (2.5-in) hard drives in 7.0-mm/7.2-mm (.28-in) thickness
You can upgrae to higher specs HDD or even SSD. The current sweet spot is 1GB.
Regards.
