Hallo , on my HP Notebook 15-ay101nv , is there a possibility to change the Num Lock to ON bei start of Windows 10 in BIOS ? or is there another solution , When i log in windows with PIN , i must always type first Num Lock and after my PIN .

Thank you for the fast replay ( not even 30 min) Yes , this was the right solution ! Now my Num Lock is ON bei start ! Thank you again ....

Hi,

This is how you can set num lock:

 

Press winkey+R  and type regedit

 

Now go to HKEY_USERS > .DEFAULT > Control Panel > Keyboard and double click on the Key InitialKeyboardIndicators

change the value from      2147483648    to     2147483650            (adding 2 to the value)

 

Now at bootup Num Lock will be on.

hello,

 

press windows + r 

 

on the run box type  :

 

regedit and hit enter

 

now search for : 

 

HKEY_USERS\.DEFAULT\Control Panel\Keyboard

 Find the string value called "InitialKeyboardIndicators"

 

double click and set the value to 2 or 2147483650.

 

Now, click ok and restart the system.
