ZBook 15 G2
Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

I bought an external SSD spec'ed at 450MB/s over USB 3. On my ZBook, I get 33MB/s. (My USB 2 thumb drives get over 25 MB/s on the same ports.) Shocked, I checked the internal HDD speed and found it to be only 60MB/s. The same external drive on two "equivalent" Dell laptops records 330-350 MB/s and their internal drives register higher than that.  Why is my ZBook so slow?

Well, in spite of the youth of this machine, it appears that drivers were the cause. Updated the chipset drivers and the USB drivers and now the numbers are much more in line with what I expected.
