Hello @giofunny,
Welcome to the the HP Forums! You have come to the right place to ask questions, find solutions and get help from others in the community!
I read your post about wanting to upgrade the processor on your HP G62-a21SE Notebook and wanted to reach out to you.
Based on what I can find in the service manual (page 81), you should be able to upgrade the processor on your system as it lists several different compatible processors for both i3 and i5. If you are going to do the upgrade yourself, the manual has the steps on that also.
Please let me know how this goes. This is a great question other customers may also be wondering about; please click the Accept as Solution if you feel this post has helped you, or could help others.
Thanks!
Please click the below to show you like/appreciate my post or to simply say thanks!
Please share what worked for you with others by marking the post as solved by clicking the Accept as Solution button.
Thanks - I work on behalf of HP
