Hello,
Please I currently have a 500GB HDD on my system. Can I upgrade it to a 1TB SSD for better performance?
Thanks

Hi,
Nothing to stop you to do that. My suggestion
(a) Clone HDD to new SSD using cloning software (normally SSD vendor will supply one),
(b) Physical swap HDD to SSD,
I've swapped around dozen of laptops and the successful rate is 100% on Sandisk and Crucial SSD's.
Regards.
