I don't have the core parking feature anyway, it's Intel only, I guess.
Using AMD Overdrive didn's completely solve the problem, as something forced the multiplier back to 4 few minutes after changing it. I figured it had to be some kind BIOS-side power saving "feature", but HP's official BIOS sucks and there aren't any options related to it. I installed modded BIOS (it's risky, I know), disabled AMD Cool'n'Quiet-mode and now the multiplier sticks at 12.5x.
Pretty weird, huh? Cool'n'Quiet is supposed to raise multiplier when needed and lower it when computer is idle, but for some reason it stopped working correctly few months ago and stuck the multiplier at 4x.

Interesting..
It's working for me... but I am not 100% with how it is now..
seems like multitasking is a pain now... that part is awefull slow when i switch..
so it's still not right..
As for the BIOS... I am trying to find a modded version... at least 1 that I can change some settings..
Know a BIOS for the dv7-6c95dx ?

My problem is back 😞
I did notice something
since this model had 2 HD's in it..
The Primairy is really slow
Sec is blazing fast..
Ran several disc programs to verify.
Thought maybe the HD was shot, so I put a spare in it... and same slow speed.
So wonder if the Primairy port is shot..
