I don't know if this is the correct place for this question.  We just bought a HP Split 13-f010dx x2 PC.  The user guide reders to a service label having part  number, serial number, etc.  We do not have such a label on ours.  We have to turn the unit on and look at computer properties to get some of that.  It was on the box also.  Should we have a label?

I had looked at this web page.  It does show a way to find the information using the Support Assistant but does not address the issue of the label.  Sometimes some of this info is necessary when seeking support.  Info on the computer instead of on the label is not very useful if the computer is inoperable.
