i recently purchases an elitebook 850 without really checking the full specs of the same. i figured later it had Was operating on 1.6ghz. the specs are actually listed as intel core i5 @1.6Ghz 2.3 Ghz.

i have tried comparing with other pcs but on other laptops these values are the same e.g core i3 @2.6Ghz 2.6 Ghz.

my question is the 2.3 just a figure to look at or is there anythibg i can do to boost it to operate at 2.3Ghz so that it becomes (core i3 @2.3Ghz 2.3Ghz??
