Hi:

Yes that is exactly what I needed.

There is no W7 wireless driver from HP that I know of for that card, so this is what you have to do...

Go to the ASUS driver page here:

             http://www.asus.com/Networking/PCEAC66/#support_Download_30

Download the file for the ASUS PCE-AC66 driver 6.30.95.26.

Extract the files into a folder.

Go to the device manager and click on the network controller needing drivers.

Click on the driver tab.  Click on Update Driver.  Select the Browse my computer for driver software and browse to the driver folder you unzipped the driver files to.

Make sure the Include subfolders box is checked, and see if that driver works.

Try this driver for the bluetooth...

Try this driver for the unknown device...

Hi:

Go to the device manager, find the Other Devices category, and click on the Network Controller needing drivers.

Then click on the Details tab at the top of the Network Controller window.

Now you see a Property drop down list and it is defaulted to Device Description.

Drop down on that and select the second item on the list (Hardware ID's).

Post the top string of characters that begin with PCI\VEN.

Hi Paul,

I tried the ASUS driver and ik works, but only the wifi signal is verry weak, and i am only 3 meters away from my wifi router.

After this i kept on searching and found this broadcom driver with the number sp66403.exe on the german HP support site.

This one did the trick for me. full WIFI signal and it works fine.

Also the driver you sent for the unknown device was great, that solved all my isseus, thanks a lot.

Can you tell me the name of the driver of the unknown device? The link doesn't work anymore, it takes me to the HP support site.

Hi, @Mohid28 :

You need this driver...

This package provides HP 3D DriveGuard Software (HP ProtectSmart Hard Drive Protection) for supported notebook models that are running a supported operating system. HP 3D DriveGuard Software protects the hard drive by parking the heads if the notebook is accidentally dropped, or is abruptly impacted by another object.

File name: sp71811.exe

Thanks a lot Paul! It works flawlessly!
